IPAA Files Comments on EPA Stormwater Construction Regulatory Proposal

Following enactment of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 clarifying that both operations and construction related to oil and natural gas activities were exempted from Clean Water Act permitting for uncontaminated stormwater discharges, the Environmental Protection Agency proposed a rule to include the clarification. IPAA submitted comments for itself and number national, state and regional organization supporting the EPA proposal.
